THE CLIENT



Teafy is an organic & sustainable global Japanese Green tea brand founded in Melbourne, Australia. As both a tea manufacturer and retailer, they have grown their tea from Shizuoka Japan and specialise in different varieties of matcha selection: Sencha, Genmaicha, Hojicha and Matcha.






The Challenge

It was time for Teafy to expand globally. With ambitions to grow beyond just the Australia market, the brand wanted to optimise their international websites to increase brand awareness, traffic and sales.

With a somewhat low conversion rate and little presence in other target countries, they wanted us to be part of their growth across USA, UK, India and other markets.

THE STRATEGY


We launched into an in-depth audit and uncovered a number of technical issues on Teafy's website that were impacting the customer’s online experience, such as slow load speeds, duplicate contents, etc. – pulling down rankings, reducing organic traffic and affecting conversion rate. In addition to vital technical fixes, we also implement the best UX practices to improve user experience, increasing dwell time and reducing website bounce rate. This involved ensuring landing pages aligns with user search intents, optimising website navigation and mobile load speed. From optimising top-level parent pages through to individual category pages, we also produce relevant contents that were favourable to search engines but stayed true to Teafy's communication style.

THE RESULTS


Our optimisation strategy has increased website traffic by 45% within 3 months, increased e-commerce sales by 34% and increase online enquiries and leads by more than 50% in the span of 3 months.
